Candella House Talpe GALLE

Candella House sits directly on Mihiripenna Beach in Talpe, a quiet stretch of Sri Lanka's southern coast between Galle and Koggala, where the property's two pools and its private beach frontage give guests the unusual combination of choosing between them at any point in the day. The building was designed with Dutch colonial Ceylon as its explicit reference: arched facades in white render, teal-painted rooflines, brick archway corridors between buildings, a covered pavilion with a teal-beamed ceiling as the reception and gathering space, and the kind of architectural consistency that gives every corner of the property a sense of having been considered rather than assembled. Eight suites are distributed across the property with enough separation between them that the grounds never feel occupied by anyone other than your own group.
