Through our website Ceylon Haven provides an online platform through which you as a consumer can browse different types of temporary accommodation, including but not limited to hotels, serviced apartments, villas & rooms for rent, and request to make reservations with such accommodations and where specified also including making a pre-payment service for such reservations of Accommodations in advance with a credit card, debit card, e-wallet, or such other payment method to facilitate the processing of such payment.
When rendering our services, the information that we disclose about Accommodations is based on the information provided to us by our suppliers and / or providers. Although we will use commercially reasonable skill and care in performing our services we will not verify if, and cannot guarantee that, all information is accurate, complete, correct or up to date, nor can we be held responsible for any errors (including manifest and typographical errors), interruptions (whether due to any (temporary and/or partial) breakdown, repair, upgrade or maintenance of the Site or otherwise), inaccurate, misleading or untrue information or non-delivery of information. Each Accommodation always remains responsible for the accuracy, completeness and correctness of the Accommodation information displayed on the Ceylon Have Website. Changes in market conditions or circumstances may occur at short notice which may make information displayed on the Ceylon Haven website inaccurate or outdated. In case of problems, our Customer Service will use its commercially reasonable efforts to assist you and serve as a point of contact with the Accommodation. Please note that Ceylon Haven is one of many channels’ accommodations use to make their inventory available for reservation. When a search result indicates that an accommodation has no more availability, that means the accommodation is not available for reservation through Ceylon Haven.
Ceylon Haven’s website does not constitute and should not be regarded as a recommendation or endorsement of the quality, service or rating of any accommodation listed on our website. We hereby expressly disclaim any representation, warranty or undertaking in relation to the quality, status or adequacy of any Accommodation listed on our website. The default ranking is based on an automated algorithm which may be updated or amended from time to time, and which takes into account different factors including but not necessarily limited to availability, promotions and rates, historical popularity, money earned by Ceylon Haven, conversion (the ratio of reservations made to Site visits), sales of room nights, cancellations, quality of content, guest review scores, star ratings. At times Ceylon Haven may also offer accommodations the opportunity of a sponsored listing (to pay for optimum visibility on our website), in such cases these sponsored listings will be marked to the consumer in the form of a graphic or wording for additional clarity.
To the extent permitted by applicable laws, Ceylon Haven reserves the right to at our discretion, refuse or cancel bookings in exceptional cases and will notify you of the refusal or cancellation by email to the address you provided when you made your booking. Reasons for rejecting your booking may include but are not limited to; requests made by the accommodation, actual or suspected re-selling of accommodation booked through our website on an individual or mass basis without prior written permission directly from Ceylon Haven, force majeure events, trade or economic sanctions, fraud or theft, suspected criminal activity, suspicious booking, submission of incorrect or misleading information by you the consumer, refusal to supply any requested information, threats, insults, violence, history, blacklisting by governments or international organisations. If the case arises that your booking is rejected by Ceylon Haven and an advance payment has been made in relation to your booking you will receive a full refund of the booking value, except in the case of unauthorised re-selling. ). Refunds will not be issued in the event of unauthorized reselling due to the many negative factors involved, including but not limited to the disadvantage such practice imposes on our authorized and contracted affiliate partners, Accommodations who provide Ceylon Haven with inventory on a contracted and trusted basis and the loss and negative brand impact caused to Ceylon Haven due to unauthorized Resellers attempting to undercut Ceylon Haven’s business which may include placing the resold inventory on sites run by competitors of Ceylon Haven without our knowledge or consent.
Ceylon Haven reserves the right to ban or blacklist users and or consumers from our website on a permanent or temporary basis at our discretion. Where a user is blacklisted by Ceylon Haven or any of their accommodation partners or providers, they must not attempt to use the Ceylon Haven website under their or any other name or through another user.
In rare cases Ceylon Haven may be forced to cancel, reject, or adjust your booking because of obvious errors. An example of an obvious error may be but is not limited to; the terms of pricing or booking conditions which a reasonable person would not consider to be normal. Should your booking be effected by an obvious error you will be notified by email to the address provided during the initial booking process, the booking will be adjusted and where relevant Ceylon Haven will ensure a refund of some or all of the amount charged.
Circumstances such as ongoing renovations, Accommodation booking errors, and specific guest needs can affect the quality of your stay. It is your responsibility as the consumer to let the Accommodation know any special requests or requirements you may have in advance where possible or during check-in at the accommodation facility.
The use of the Ceylon Haven website is for your personal and non-commercial use. The content and information included on this website, including, without limitation, price and availability of accommodation services, as well as the infrastructure used to provide such content and information, is proprietary to Ceylon Haven or its suppliers and providers.
Accordingly, as a condition of using this website, you agree not to use this website, or its contents or information displayed for any commercial or non-personal purpose (direct or indirect). While you may make limited copies of your accommodation itinerary (and related documents) for services purchased through this website, you agree not to modify, copy, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, license, create derivative works from, transfer, or sell or re-sell any information, software, products, or services obtained from this website.

Please note that, unless expressly indicated otherwise, all prices on the Site are for full property rental only, for the specified stay dates and number of people specified. Without prejudice to what is set out below, before you confirm a reservation, Ceylon Haven will display the total price payable, including taxes and service fees, and what is included. As you select options or specify additional details, we will update the total price.
The price of the accommodation services listed will be as quoted on the website from, except in cases of obvious error. Prices are liable to change at any time, but changes will not affect bookings already accepted.
Despite Ceylon Haven’s best efforts, some of the services listed on our website may be incorrectly priced. Ceylon Haven expressly reserves the right to correct any pricing errors on our website and or on pending reservations made at the incorrect price. In such event, if available Ceylon Haven will offer you the opportunity to keep your pending reservation at the correct price or we will cancel your reservation without penalty. Ceylon Haven is under no obligation to provide services to you at an incorrect price, even in cases where you have been sent a booking confirmation.
With certain properties listed on Ceylon Haven, you may be presented with the option to pay online immediately or to pay later at the hotel itself. If you select the option to pay online immediately, you will be charged the amount in the local currency. If your Charge Currency is different from your payment account currency, your account provider will determine the exchange rate to use when the transaction is applied to your account. Your account provider may offer a higher or lower rate than Ceylon Haven, and may charge you additional fees for a foreign transaction. Ceylon Haven does not control or benefit from your account provider’s exchange rate or fees. If you select to pay later at the hotel itself, the hotel will charge you in the local currency of the relevant hotel at the time of your stay. Tax rates and foreign exchange rates could change in the time between booking and stay.
If you select a pay later option, you may be asked to provide the details of your payment card and the supplier and Ceylon Haven will often have to verify: (i) the validity of the payment card (through a charge of a nominal value that is either refunded within a few days or deducted from the final payment due to the supplier) and, (ii) the availability of funds on the payment card (to be confirmed by the bank issuing your credit card). Ceylon Haven reserves the right to cancel your booking if full payment is not received in a timely fashion (please see Supplier Rules and Restrictions).
By making an Accommodation reservation on Ceylon Haven’s website, you accept and agree to the relevant Accommodation booking conditions, including cancellation and no-show policies applicable to that booking, and to any additional (delivery) terms and conditions of the Accommodation that may apply to your reservation or during your stay, including for services rendered and/or products offered by the Accommodation. Please read these terms and conditions carefully. These terms and conditions will be emailed directly to you with your booking confirmation. You agree to abide by the terms or conditions of purchase imposed by any supplier with whom you elect to deal, including, but not limited to, payment of all amounts when due and compliance with the supplier’s rules and restrictions regarding availability and use of fares, products, or services.
Ceylon Haven reserves the right to cancel your booking if full payment is not received in a timely fashion. You understand that any violation of any such supplier’s conditions of purchase may result in cancellation of your reservation(s) or purchase and in Ceylon Haven debiting your account for any costs Ceylon Haven incurs as a result of such violation. You shall be completely responsible for all charges, fees, duties, taxes, and assessments arising out of the use of this website.
In addition to the reservation prices, some accommodations will charge additional fees including but not limited to; mandatory service fees, surcharges, and local taxes (for example, resort or amenity fees, transportation transfers, and city tourist tax). If we are aware of these service fees and local taxes, we will display them with your reservation price. These service fees and local taxes may be collected directly from you by the Accommodation, in addition to the price you pay for your reservation.
You will incur additional charges at the Accommodation for all services and products you use that are not included in the reservation price as expressly described by the booking conditions. Charges for amenities you use and products you consume during your stay (for example, parking, internet access, food and drink) are not included in the reservation price unless clearly specified.
During special events and periods, some Accommodations require each guest to purchase additional services (for example, a dinner on New Year’s Eve). If we are aware of a required additional service you must purchase, we will display it in the booking conditions or with your reservation price.
If you wish to review, adjust or cancel your reservation, please revert to the confirmation email and follow the instructions therein, use our self-service tool or contact Ceylon Haven Customer Care Team.
Many Accommodations have specific policies around children, accompanying travellers and/or traveling with pets. You are strongly advised to check with Ceylon Haven’s Customer Service, the Accommodation itself or to verify the Accommodation policies.
If you have special needs (e.g. wheelchair accessible room) you must contact Customer Service or the Accommodation and verify that special needs can be met. Please note that all special requests are subject to availability and are not guaranteed by Ceylon Haven. Depending on the policy of the applicable Accommodation, your reservation will be refunded, cancelled, or modified if special needs cannot be met. If available, your request will be confirmed upon arrival. Ceylon Haven will not be liable to you for any damages or costs that you suffer if the Accommodation does not meet your special needs.
Although most travel, including travel to Sri Lanka and destinations across the island, is completed without incident, travel to certain destinations may involve greater risk than others. Ceylon Haven urges guests to review travel prohibitions, warnings, announcements, and advisories issued by their country’s relevant foreign office.
By offering accommodations in destination, Ceylon Haven does not represent or warrant that travel to such destinations is advisable or without risk. Ceylon Haven is not liable for damages or losses that may result in travel to such destinations.
Ceylon Haven cannot be held liable for any loss incurred in the event of your failure to hold the necessary passports, visas and documentation for your journey. You are advised to check with the relevant embassies, consulates and/or visa departments of the countries you wish to visit. It is your responsibility to obtain whatever travel documents are required.

Please note that any complaints about the Accommodation (policies, standards, service, facilities, decoration, food, etc.) is ultimately a matter for the Accommodation itself. Ceylon Haven will coordinate directly with the Accommodation to try and find a mutually agreeable solution but cannot guarantee a satisfactory outcome. Complaints about Ancillary Services are governed by the terms and conditions of the Partner providing the Ancillary Service.
Ceylon Haven reserves the right to change the terms, conditions, and notices under which this website is offered and you agree to accept and be bound by those terms, conditions, and notices that are in effect at the time of your use of this website and its facilities.
