Ishq Villa Talpe is informal, homely and bespoke. Family owned, the villa takes its name from the Arabic word for love and passion. Located along Galle’s ‘French Riviera’, Ishq is a five-bedroomed luxury villa that first came to be in the 1990s, a part of the original fabric of the island’s first luxury villas designed by the renowned architect Bruce Fell-Smith. Today, the villa marries a love for clean design with oceanic hues and brings together all the comforts of a boutique hotel with the privacy and exclusivity of a private villa.

Our five ocean inspired suites which can accommodate up to 14 adults are beautiful, spacious and made for families, friends and couples. All suites take from contemporary south Asian design and blend seamlessly into a coastal Sri Lankan setting; features include super king-sized bedding, plenty of storage space for adults and children, private garden patios, en-suite double indoor and outdoor rainwater showers framed against exotic and fragrant frangipani trees, right down to miniature sized bedding and furnishing for junior travellers and a private outdoor Jacuzzi lounge in the Garden Suite, with views across the garden and ocean beyond. All rooms include guest amenities as well as an iPad and a Bose speaker system to keep you equipped and entertained.
