The picturesque Leopard Safari Yala campsite is situated in a nature-filled location of over 12 acres of private land, and has been landscaped in keeping with its natural setting.  The site comprises of dry zone forest, which shades the tents and keep the temperature within them cool. Hammocks and jungle chairs are strung up between them, inviting relaxation and welcome respite from the hot sun.

Perfect for honeymooners or couples, this semi-permanent canvas tent is dominated by a rustic King size four poster bed, with fabulously soft 350 thread count bed linen. In addition there is a selection of recycled wood furniture to meet your every need. The tent has an en-suite bathroom, with double hand basins, exclusive amenities, a large capacious shower and hot water heated by solar power. Approached by a meandering wooden walkway, you have the benefit of a deck at the front with seating.

Luxury Family Tent

The upgraded Luxury Family Tent is ideal for those who want to introduce their family to camping or who want to escape to the wild without compromising on any of the comforts.

Built from reclaimed timber and fitted with locally made furniture and antiques, this spacious luxury tent comes with a king size master bed and a bunk bed. Another extra bed can be added as well, so that a total of 5 guests can occupy the air-conditioned sleeping room. The attached spacious bathroom features double hand-basins and an open-to-the-sky shower with solar powered hot water.

For the family that wants something a little different, how about trying our brand new Neem Tree House?  Named after the nearby Neem Tree, this has a lovely double bedroom on the ground floor for the parents, an ensuite bathroom and then an open air sleeping loft upstairs with three beds for the kids.

Named after the nearby Neem Tree, this has a lovely double bedroom on the ground floor for the parents, an ensuite bathroom and then an open air sleeping loft upstairs with three beds for the kids. Although the ground floor is a solid structure, the Neem Tree House has a delightful thatched roof over the upstairs sleeping platform. For the parents, they have a lovely bright air conditioned bedroom with their ensuite bathroom with a large walk-in shower. There is wide deck out front to sit on and enjoy the view. For the kids, they climb a delightfully rustic staircase to their dorm, the beds have hanging mosquito nets over them and there is an open deck area, from which they can do some wildlife spotting.

The camps offer Free Wifi in the Living Pavilion, however we strongly encourage guests to keep the use of mobile phones to a minimum, and to "SWITCH OFF" during their time in the jungle. Kindly note that the campsites are non-smoking, however they do have designated smoking areas available.
